"We are going to have an inspection in WHITES about the 20th of this month...Well I had one set of ribbons sewed on my blue uniform the other nite. They certainly look a lot better than the old ones that I have. Oh, Yes, I want to tell you this. The old man, the captain of the ship is inviting each Chief up to have dinner with him.
