"Another year has passed and here I am far away from you. I hope that next New Years Eve I will be with you. A lot of the boys are going over to Cannes, France tonite to celebrate the New Years Eve. I guess I won't get any sleep tonite as they will be coming back at all hours of the nite. Well I told them that they could make as much noise as they cared to tonite as that is one time of the year that I have a big heart...I sure will be glad to see your bright and shining face on the dock. I'll bet that you will look the prettiest of all the wives that will be there. At least I think you will."
