"I received the lovely Xmas card that you sent me. Thanks a million for it. I have it hung on the Xmas tree that we have in the supply office. I put on some decorations last nite, but it is nothing like we had at home last year. There are several around the ship which look very nice. By the way, did you have time to get a tree for the children? I know it is very hard for you to do anything about a tree by yourself. Next year we will have our own again and things will be different..."
